Allan Williams of New Harbour, Newfoundland with the help of Friends of
the Earth Canada, is requesting an investigation of PCB contamination at the
local waste disposal site under the PCB Regulations of the Canadian
Environmental Protection Act . Electrical transformers containing PCBs were
dumped there in the 1980s and 90s.
